Cornmill Quay enjoys an idyllic setting, overlooking both the stone harbour of Annalong and the beautifully restored working Cornmill, set on the edge of the Annalong River as it's flows down the mountainside into the Irish Sea. Annalong, meaning 'The Ford of the Ships,” is a small fishing
village, situated on the south-east side of the majestic Mourne
Mountains . It is an area steeped in a history of smuggling and
stonework.
