What you need to know before booking…
Choosing your accommodation…
The description of Cornmill Quay has been carefully prepared to tell you as much as possible about the facility to enable you to choose your accommodation with care. If you require further information please ask at the time of booking so that where possible we can accommodate your specific requirements.
Arrival and Departure Times…
Arrivals are permitted any time between 5.30pm and 6.30pm.
Departures are permitted any time between 9.30am and 10.30am.
The facility must be vacated by 10.30am at the latest on your day of departure.
For arrivals and departures outside of the permitted times, please ask at the time of booking so that where possible we can accommodate your specific needs.
A luggage storage service is available where necessary, please ask at the time of booking so that where possible we can accommodate your specific needs.
Consideration for others…
We wish all our guests to enjoy the facilities and location of Cornmill Quay. For that reason we ask that all our guests consider the impact of their activities on others. If necessary we may ask guests to curtail their activities if it is deemed to be infringing on the enjoyment of other guests. Abuse of this rule will result in your booking being cancelled as per our booking terms and conditions see 4.3.
If you intend to use the facility for a social activity please ask at the time of booking so that where possible we can accommodate your specific needs.

Consideration for facilities…
You are responsible for the accommodation and associated facilities provided and are expected to take all reasonable care of it.
Under no circumstances may more than the maximum number of persons as stated in the booking form occupy the facility. Abuse of this rule will result in your booking being cancelled as per our booking terms and conditions see 4.3. If you intend to have day visitors at the facility please ask at the time of booking so that where possible we can accommodate your specific needs.
All accommodation and associated facilities must be left clean and tidy at the time of your departure.
You are also responsible for any breakages, losses or damage to the accommodation and associated facilities which must be notified immediately. All breakages, losses or damage must be paid for in full prior to your departure.
Please note: Pets are only permitted by prior arrangement please ask at the time of booking so that where possible we can accommodate your specific needs.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside any part of the Cornmill Quay complex. Abuse of this rule will result in your booking being cancelled as per our booking terms and conditions see 4.3.
Security Deposit
Cornmill Quay reserves the right to request a security deposit upon arrival which may be up to 25% of the total cost of your booking. Failure to meet this demand if made will automatically cancel your booking as per our terms and conditions see 4.3.
1. How to make your booking…
1.1 Quotations are inclusive of VAT where applicable and subject to alteration as stated within the terms and conditions of the relevant quotations/proposals and within the terms and conditions of the relevant booking forms as detailed within this document.
1.2 Bookings can only be confirmed upon Cornmill Quay receiving a completed booking form including a minimum deposit of 25% of the total cost as quoted. (The necessary deposit may be higher and shall be detailed at the time of booking)
1.3 The balance of the total cost as quoted is payable 4 weeks prior to the intended arrival date. In the event that the balance is not received, Cornmill Quay retain the discretion to treat the booking as cancelled by you the client.
1.4 Where a booking is made within 4 weeks prior to the intended arrival date, the total cost as quoted shall be payable at the initial booking stage in order to confirm the booking.
1.5 Payments are accepted by Credit Card via telephone, Cheque or Postal order via post or in person or Cash payments in person only (Do not send cash through the post). Receipts are issued upon request. Cheques and postal Orders are payable to Highpoint Adventure Management Ltd.
2. Should you need to cancel your booking…
2.1 Where cancellations are received more than 4 weeks prior to the intended arrival date the client shall be liable for a charge of 25% of the total cost as quoted or the deposit paid (whichever is the higher) as a cancellation fee.
2.2 Where cancellations are received less than 4 weeks prior to the intended arrival date the client shall be liable for a charge of the total cost as quoted as a cancellation fee.
2.3 Notification of cancellations must be received in writing, e-mail included.
3. Should you need to make amendments to your booking…
3.1 Where amendments are received more than 4 weeks prior to the intended arrival date the client shall be liable for a charge of 5% of the total cost as quoted as an administration fee in addition to any supplementary costs incurred by the actual amendment.
3.2 Where amendments are received less than 4 weeks prior to the intended arrival date the client shall be liable for a charge of 10% of the total cost as quoted as an administration fee in addition to any supplementary costs incurred by the actual amendment.
3.3 Notification of amendments must be received in writing, e-mail included.
4. Should we need to cancel your booking…
4.1 Whilst every attempt is made to ensure that all bookings take place as planned, Cornmill Quay will notify the client of any cancellations as soon as practicable where it believes on reasonable grounds that such action is necessary to ensure that the preferred standards of service are maintained (this includes residents behaviour etc).
4.2 Cornmill Quay will do everything possible to ensure that bookings do take place as planned as we appreciate the inconvenience that cancellations may cause and hence cancellations shall only occur as a last resort where no alternatives exist.
• 44.3 In this situation whereby Cornmill Quay is acting on behalf of the client as a result of the client, the client shall be liable for cancellation fees as in 2.1 and 2.2.
4.4 In this situation whereby Cornmill Quay is acting on behalf of the client and not as a result of the client, the client shall be liable for a refund as appropriate. 4.5 Notification of cancellations shall be made by telephone or in person.
5. Should we need to make amendments to your booking…

5.3 In this situation whereby Cornmill Quay is acting on behalf of the client as a result of the client, the client shall be liable for amendment fees as in 3.1 and 3.2.
5.4 In this situation whereby Cornmill Quay is acting on behalf of the client and not as a result of the client, the client shall be liable for a refund as appropriate.
5.4 Notification of amendments shall be made by telephone or in person.
6. Safety and Insurance
Clients may obtain insurance for cancellations and damage resulting in the misuse of the facility in accordance with our terms and conditions.
To assist Cornmill Quay offer two waiver options, for damage and for cancellation as follows;
Damage waiver – provided at 12% of the total cost of the booking
Cancellation waiver – provided at 23% of the total cost (25% deposit as excess)
If you are interested in availing of the waivers offered please ask at the time of booking so that where possible we can accommodate your specific needs.
7. CONFIRMATION
Acceptance of any booking is subject to us receiving a completed and signed booking form and necessary deposit. Upon receipt of a completed and signed booking form and necessary deposit Cornmill Quay shall confirm the booking in writing.
